LMS is a centralized hub for all learning and training materials. Thus a LMS software for schools is a more convenient platform for students, as it allows them to access and engage with learning content even in remote settings.
- Our client is an international phonics institution, that has a vision to transform online learning with a centralized platform for course delivery, student management, teacher management, and school management.
- They wanted us to develop custom LMS software for schools that allows them to manage the learning process, courses, students, teachers, and their performance online to meet the evolving needs and challenges faced by educational institutions.
- The main highlights of the LMS software that we built were an interactive admin panel that extensively manages all the phonics-related courses and individual pieces of training.

Our Innovative Solution
To address these challenges, a collaborative approach was adopted by the PsiBorg team for designing and implementing a comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS).
Our team first did a thorough analysis of the clients requirements and pain points to tailor the LMS implementation accordingly.
As a result, we decided to go with a custom build using NodeJs on the backend and NextJs on the frontend.
Understanding the client requirements, PsiBorg team developed comprehensive LMS software for schools and included features like course creation, student enrollment, assessments, and progress tracking to support a smooth transition to online learning.
Comprehensive training programs were provided to teachers, students, and administrators to ensure effective utilization of the LMS.
The main points of developing a smart learning management system for education were:
- An admin panel for managing schools, teachers, students, and chapters, assigning courses to grades, editing division details, and creating virtual meets.
- Multiple levels of user access, ranging from school heads to teachers, and students.
- Multiple types of assessments, videos, and quizzes that are fully configurable and customizable.
- The system also allows users to manage different courses and their modules in different languages separately. Each module also had a detailed list of flash tutorials.
- An user-friendly interface for teachers to easily create and manage courses. The app is integrated with multimedia support and thus allows teachers to add instructional videos, presentations, and other multimedia elements into their courses.

Project Challenges
Traditional teaching methods struggle to captivate students and fail to provide effective learning that includes interactive methods and short videos for active learning.
It’s difficult for teachers to manage students and track their progress without a dedicated system. Plus, there is a communication gap between teachers, students, and parents.
Development-wise, it was crucial to integrate LMS with the schools existing infrastructure while making LMS software that contains a multitude of features without making the entire app complex.
Result
The implementation and development of LMS software for schools resulted in positive changes in the traditional learning and teaching culture. As per the client requirement, our team developed a tool for schools to improve student engagement and foster a collaborative learning environment.
